In 2018, two friends from the University of Tasmania took a chance and launched Boathouse Coffee at the North Esk Rowing Club, across from Seaport. Back then, the area looked much different than it does today. With recent developments like the Seaport footbridge, Riverbend Park, and the Silo Hotel, this spot has become a vibrant hub for locals and visitors alike.

Now, six years later, part owners Daniel Britton and Isaac Lethborg have built Boathouse Coffee to be one of Launceston’s go-to spots for the best brew in city!

While we're still all about great coffee, we're also excited to offer the Boathouse Centre Launceston as a versatile event space with stunning views of the Tamar River and Launceston Seaport, all—just a short walk from the city centre.
